Matteo Russo

Matteo is an international jurist. He holds a master’s degree in law from the University of Bologna and an LL.M. in Transnational Crime and Justice from the University for Peace. Before joining ELA, Matteo was in Lesvos with Fenix Legal Aid providing legal assistance to asylum seekers. He had prior work experience in international agencies and NGOs, such as the ICC, Eurojust and Centre for African Justice, Peace and Human Rights. He collaborated with online magazines specializing in conflict studies and human rights.
